About
With over 20 years in graphic design, I've come to believe that good design doesn't decorate. It reveals. My work begins with listening, because every brand, space, or idea already holds a truth worth telling, and my job is to find it and give it a form people can feel. I look for the point where beauty and purpose meet, since design that only looks good is quickly forgotten, while design that means something stays with people. That belief carries through everything I make, from brand identities and immersive events to the marketing that carries a story into the world.
Based in Portland, Oregon, I draw from both the city's creative communities and the wild landscapes that surround it. Lately my work has been moving off the screen and into my hands, through molding silicone, 3D printing wearable art, and hunting for textiles with hidden potential. These materials are leading me toward larger art pieces built to be shared, installations people can walk into, touch, and gather around. To me, the best creative work doesn't end with the maker. It becomes something a community can call its own.
